R1.06 · Course-conditioned Race Strategy v0
Race Strategy v0
A goal-anchored engineering simulation that redistributes pace across the Athens course while preserving the synthetic 3:45 goal. The numbers below are deliberately blocked from real-athlete prescription because goal feasibility, terrain capability and full-resolution course evidence are not yet validated.
Execution principle
Effort first. Pace follows terrain.
Hold effort across hills, avoid banking time early, and treat downhill speed as controlled rather than free pace.
- Do not bank time in the opening kilometres.
- Allow pace loss on climbs rather than forcing flat-course pace.
- Use descents as controlled running, not as permission to overstride.
- Unknown uphill/downhill athlete capability prevents personalized terrain deltas.
Segment simulation
Athens changes the pace shape
R1.06 uses transparent zero-sum engineering coefficients to demonstrate course-aware redistribution while preserving the user-entered goal time. These coefficients are not claimed to be physiologically validated.
Terrain policy
Transparent coefficients, never hidden AI
The weighted coefficients are normalized back to the same 3:45:00 simulation total, so course terrain changes the shape, not the user-entered goal itself.
